The service is simply outstanding. The staff is always smiling and competent. There is a nice variety of quality items available. I recently purchased a series of Shun knives there which were unfortunately out of stock due to a company stock shortage. I finally bought them online on the Doyon Després website. After a while, as they still didn't receive the knives, they offered me to choose another knife (more expensive) and sent them to me without my having to pay anything more.
I think that says a lot about their desire to make their customers happy.
My parents also did business with them for the repair of a Jura coffee maker. They also obtained exceptional service, with an equivalent coffee maker as a courtesy during the repair.
Really if all stores were like this, e-commerce wouldn't be so popular.
