Very touching testimony of the town to its early departed from the Megantic train tragedy. The image of the star-shaped silhouettes, echoing the 42 missing people and the cultural history of the town now honors their memory.

Flowers and herbs surround the path and explanatory descriptions accompany the visitors. Moving experience.

Unfortunately closed on the day we visited. Engineer in the white railroad cap is my Dad. Worked 49 years 7 months for the C.P.R. He always said he was happy to have a job during the great depression. 👍
