(February 2, 2021, 11:36 am)We were Australians travelling by car from the USA into Canada. We turned right from the USA Border control in Beebe Junction into Canusa Street and accidentally crossed into Canada without clearing through Canada Customs/Border control. We turned around about a kilometre up the street and went back to the Canada Border control. Lucky we did as the Canada border agents had already sent out a stop and arrest order on us. After an explanation and apologies for the mistake we were allowed into Canada. The Border agents asked us a lot of very serious questions, about 50 different ones. One of the last questions he asked us was "do we know anyone in Canada?" I said yes, i know you now. He gave a tiny smile and I knew we were going to be ok. Just don't make the mistake of turning right from the USA into Canusa Street.
