When we arrived at Ste Anne de la Pérade, it was the 2nd day of hole fishing.
Hundreds of fishing huts (more than 500) are placed on the ice and perfectly equipped for this fishing: benches and tables for dining, a wood stove, lighting, a floor with a hole (of thirty cm wide along the length of the hut and the lines for fishing) cut in the ice, supply of bait and even sale of fish (tomcod) for those who return empty-handed ...
In short, everything to have a great day and / or night.
PLEASE NOTE, the season only lasts from December 26 to mid February !!!
