I received my coffee table a couple of weeks ago and have not been able to take my eyes off it. I will never be able to. It’s gorgeous - elegant and modern, yet warm and comforting.
Compliments have poured in, but more than that anyone who sits down at it feels instantly at home and conversation flows. I haven’t had a coffee table in this room for ten years - we made do with a side table we moved from another room. I was waiting for “the one” and this is it.
The process took a number of months as I decided on the perfect slab. Charles is easy to reach and communicate with. I eventually was stumped to choose a slab from the options I’d been given, due to not being able to picture the finished product and hesitating on the "safe" dimensions I envisioned in my cozy home. In the end, I asked Charles to choose for me based on the specs I'd given him.
What he showed me then was a little larger and shaped differently than what I originally asked for - but it instantly spoke to me and now it’s home :). I am so glad he offered me this slab! I could not be happier with the whole experience and my table - it’s perfect for my home in every way.
It's a striking piece, one of a kind, sturdy. With felt under the legs it slides effortlessly over my hardwood floor and I rotate it on occasion to suit the mood.
On top of all this, shipping was fast and his packing is impressive.
