The Collins House

I am so happy that I picked this Bed and Breakfast over other larger hotels. The new owners Nancy and Alain were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, I think one of the rooms does not have an en suite bathroom. It's right outside the door so you have to leave your room. I stayed in the Thomas room and it has a double bed and its own bathroom and two windows. It's a really cute room and I really loved the "kitchenette". It kind of splits the room from the bathroom and the dining area. You've got a Keurig coffee machine. You can bring your own pods or they have some from McD's, decaff, hot chocolate and even tea. They have milk in a bottle in the mini fridge. One of my favorite parts was the breakfast. Not only were they included, they were also very good and you can pick and choose what you want. The pain doré bowl was my favorite. The chocolatine and croissant come hot and crispy. I looked forward to it each morning. Especially when this room is above the kitchen. I can smell their cooking in the morning. Everything is well covered and that's important during these covid times. After eating, you're just walk a 3 minute walk to the main street with tons of restaurants. You're also two minutes away from a grocery store and pharmacy. So you can get all the things you forgot to bring. And if you like nature hikes, you're also just a few minutes out. So basically, you're close to everything and there's also free private parking.

A short but wonderful 1 night stay while biking in the townships. Extraordinary value, the Charles room was large, impeccably clean, and very very comfortable. The breakfast was generous, personalised and delicious.

Fantastic place! My husband and I went there for two nights for our wedding weekend and not only were the staff lovely, the house beautiful, clean, AND Eco-friendly, the food amazing, but the owners saved my wedding day! Seriously - I had forgotten my dress shirt all the way back in Montreal and only realized the morning of, but they loaned me a shirt without a second thought and saved the day. =) Looking forward to going back again in the future, for sure!

My favorite place we stayed on a biking trip through the Eastern Townships of Quebec! Very clean, friendly owners and gourmet food. Peaceful vibe and good air-conditioning too, important on a very hot day!

The perfect BnB experience - location, comfort, cleanliness (spotless!), friendliness and genuine warmth from the owners, awesome breakfast! I would definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone.
