Le Rokh

I spent a week with my two daughters in this small and modern cottage set in a magical setting. Just sitting upstairs and looking out drinking coffee or having a drink at the end of the day was an experience into itself. I wish I could bring the atmosphere back home with me. You absolutely need a 4x4 with snow tires if in winter. Lac Beauport has many places to get food nearby. There are so many things in the area to do even for non skiers. The few drawbacks abour the cottage is that people who have a large body will find it difficult to navigate the narrow spiral staircase. Personally, I would not bother having an espresso machine and I would add a microwave. The kitchen is basic and the fridges are the small types you find in hotels. The bunk beds are comfortable and the Ikea couch upstairs converts into a bed and is not the best for sleeping as there are hard bits digging into your back. The place is ideal for a couple. Anymore than three would be pretty squished imo.

Superb place. Relaxing. Magnificent view with a beautiful balcony. In addition, super nice hosts, outgoing. A gem for mountain biking enthusiasts.
