Good staff good business
Excellent
This company did some water works this summer in our municipality. I caught a worker watering my garden rather than walking the 40 meters separating him from the chemical toilet. I also had to move many times a grid of sewer crushing an tree of my hedge despite the ample space around to put it. Why many times? Because the next day, the worker, careless of broken broken branches, covered her again with her weight. On 2 occasions, mowing the lawn, I found metal objects that were forgotten, but bulky enough to damage my mower or hurt someone: a remnant of wire roll and a remnant of interlocking steel rods.
During an information evening, even before the work began, the project managers had specified that everything would be rebuilt and returned to the original state. It was not the case at home. My flowerbeds were surrounded by granite stones that were difficult to obtain and expensive to buy ... When they digged with the mechanical shovel, about twenty of them were washed away. I was wrong to think they would care to invest the 5 min. necessary to remove or avoid them. I have notified the site manager a few times about this, but I have never received any feedback. On the other hand, in order to allay the fears of some citizens, it was stated that no blasting would be carried out; therefore no danger to the foundations and structures of the houses. Fortunately, no blasting took place as promised. On the other hand, during some works, it was impossible to keep the windows open so the noise was intense. By now, the walls vibrated when the '' roller-hammer '' compacted the ground (no idea of the real name of this machine). Absolutely impossible to take a nap during the work, even with caps.We have porcelain counters with epoxy joints for over 3 years and never the slightest trouble has appeared on the horizon ... at least until 'that this company arrives in our neighborhood. In less than 3 weeks, the epoxy joints cracked in several places. It is repairable, but it is unpleasant and irritating to have to spend an afternoon remaking what would normally last twenty years, not to mention the costs involved and knowing that part of the municipal taxes are used to pay those who damaged them ...
So for the respect of the citizen at T.G.C, we will go back. This company collects the hundreds of thousands of dollars donated by the munipalities and seems to care little about the inhabitants who live there.
Of course, there are good things for T.G.C too: the street and sidewalks are perfect! I have nothing to say on that. Maybe some workers are lacking in class, but certainly they know how to replace an aqueduct and build a street and a sidewalk in an efficient way. In addition, the new lawn is of very good quality ... to pale the old so it is '' healthy ''. In the end, despite all the disadvantages mentioned above, the "look" of the street is again inviting and enhances the aesthetic aspect of the neighborhood.
In short, would I recommend this company? I would say yes, if it does its work away from any residential area, on a highway for example, or a rural road at least 30 meters from any dwelling ... Would I want it again in my neighborhood? No thanks! Never ... even once dead, I would be afraid that the compacting machine, by its vibrations, make raise my tomb towards the surface ...
