Bouchette is a charming little village whose church steeple can be seen from Route 105 (easier to see when you come from the south). In the Parc des Bâtisseurs, you can put your rowboat in the water for a ride on the Gatineau River, which crosses the municipality. A narrow ⏤ one-lane traffic ⏤ bridge leads to the other side of the river, from where you can continue your journey towards Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau, to the north, or to the east. towards the lake of Trente et Un Milles, very beautiful it seems. I always like to stop in this quiet village for a bit of relaxation and, more often than not, a good poutine at the Chez Mado snack bar.
