Fort Chambly National Historic Site

Pretty cool place to visit. Admission doesn't cost all that much and you get to learn a little bit of history.

Nice place to visit with kids. There is a museum around the fort and a live explanation of how soldiers used to load and fire.

Nice fort, but kind of small and you can be done in about an hour if you take your time. Good exhibits for history lovers.

Great place for a family visit! Picnic area available, army 17th century representation available check for the time of representations on website, courteous personnel, great exposition on site, new history games that involve children into a more active history learning are available! Free parking is available!

We were pleasantly surprised to find a whole museum inside the fort with a lot of activities for kids. The bilingual docents were happy to give us information, do demonstrations, lead tours, and answer questions. Restrooms available. Nice park surrounding the fort as well.
