Resto-Bar Fondue Caquelon

We tried the table d'hôte for 2.
The cheese fondue as a starter is ideal for those who prefer very mild cheeses and much less for lovers of tasty cheeses like Gruyère. The choice of cheeses needs to be reviewed.

A salad was then served (a supplement for the caesar). The caesar salad lacked dressing and a lot of seasoning.

The main meal Chinese fondue was generous and the meat tender. However, the broth lacked a lot of flavor (a mixture of water and a few drops of beef broth perhaps). Cooking meat may be fine, but when cooking vegetables, it only tastes watery. Disappointing for regulars of fondue restaurants or at home. The broth recipe would greatly need to be reviewed and improved in order to bring back customers.

The included chocolate fondue for dessert tasted very good. On the other hand, the one offered with a supplement to the pralines was not up to the price. The nuts had a strong rancid aftertaste. Better to stick to the basic one which was good.

The restaurant is well decorated and warm, but some culinary points need to be improved in order to satisfy fondue lovers. For the price and having tried many fondue restaurants, we were unfortunately disappointed. The concept is excellent but the culinary level clearly needs to be revamped in order to establish a regular and satisfied clientele.

He lacks stars, I would give him 10 easy! A warm welcome, a knowledge and clear explanations of the menu, beautiful presentation, quality of the food, but when you taste it, your taste buds will be solicited by the incomparable flavors that will be discovered. The passion of a chef on your plate. Everything I tasted there was simply delicious, the aromas of your dishes are mouth-watering and a preamble to the culinary experience you are going to live there. Recently installed in a very pleasant decor and some evenings you will discover musicians who enhance the evening. Short! A place to adopt, as well as a group or a couple or even solitary pleasure!

A great discovery for us. Extraordinary service, attentive to our needs and very friendly. The food was plentiful and delicious. We took the Chinese fondue table d'hôte and came out of the restaurant with a full stomach. I recommend to everyone without hesitation.
