Excellent place to buy your cabinetry lumber. These are mostly North American woods, but they also have mahogany. Although they specialize in wholesaling to the international market, they are willing to sell to local cabinet makers and businesses.
There are some negative reviews that point to poor customer service, but it is not. First of all, it is a wholesaler willing to sell to small suppliers. Their real market is the sale of timber by container internationally. You must therefore be prepared and have basic notions of cabinetmaking (PMP, species and others). The quality of the wood is uniform and according to the standards for sale in the markets.
Wide variety of raw wood, locally sourced and American, for cabinetmaking. They seem to saw and dry everything they sell themselves, so they have the lowest prices I've ever found. By the same token, it allows them to control their product quality, which they do very well if I am relying on my experience.
NOTE & SUGGESTIONS:
- You don't choose the boards you want but rather the quantity you want to have. It is therefore necessary, in certain cases, to take more than necessary in the event that there are portions which cannot be used (knots, bark, cracks, etc.). The low prices keep it even cheaper, but it can lead to a good additional workload. For some species it is to be considered.
- Minimum order of $ 250 (latest news).
- Suggestion (Especially for amateur cabinetmakers.): ARRIVE PREPARED! Everything should be fine if you know in advance the type (s) of wood you want, the thickness (in quarters ... Dare to ask for a thickness in growth and you are screwed for the visit) and the quantity (in pmp ...). If you don't know what these terms mean, a little Google search can save you a lot of frustration.
Great service and price, but you have to know what you want. He is a wholesaler, not a retailer. Price is much cheaper than elsewhere and super nice wood, always been very satisfied.
