Maître Lavoie was courteous, professional, and patient as he guided my husband and I through the labyrinthine passages of Quebec law. We had an initial visit to discuss our options and learn what Maître Lavoie's recommendations were given our financial and familial situation.
The entire process was explained carefully in English; we were sent draft copies to review and return; finally, we signed and submitted our documentation and paid our account balance. Some of you might avoid writing wills to avoid paying a fee but it is well worth the customary fees to know that my children will be cared for in a way that I would want in the event of my death.
