(February 13, 2019, 12:39 am)One of the best bakeries. Their cakes and desserts are always fresh and very delicious. Bread also very fresh. Staff is super friendly. It gets really busy on weekends so make sure to come for opening. They usually have good amounts, so I haven't seen anyone run out on something. Summer terasse is very cozy too.
(October 20, 2018, 8:43 pm)Where do I begin? I like this place, I really do. What I do not like is the recent makeover. Prior to this it was homey , quaint and cozy. Now it has a modern, cold, industrial feel to it. Not a fan. The servers seem to have no direction right now and service is slooow. I recently bought a whole vegetable pizza and bought a Gateau Marguerite a l'orange. I was charged $15.00 TOTAL!!!! Way under the price that should have been in the $40+ mark. The servers seem unsure of everything happening about them. I see the faces of customers around me, also seem either unsure of what is happening or annoyed with the wait time of a simple purchase. Simply put it's hairy beery right now at Pains & Saveurs! On the plus, they have a lot of fine products like the Lemon tart and gateau Marguerite a l'orange are just a few. The vegetable pizza is delicious and they really know how to make a fine crust on their pizzas. Hope everything gets sorted out in the near future, like I said, I really do like this place and I do plan on going back.
(October 10, 2018, 1:24 pm)Everything is tasty. Fresh croissant in the morning, sourdough bread, cake, they even have kouign amann! It's both a blessing and a curse it is my local bakery. One of the best tomato pizza as well as they nail the dough.
