Oh what a great trip!

Hotel CATALONIA ROYAL TULUM is recommended
room not the newest but very clean
Bed with the most comfortable mattress and pillows
6 à la carte restaurants without reservation, no waiting
morning and lunch buffet restaurant without reproach, excellent food, good choice, unlimited drinks, impeccable service and welcome,
shows: 5 excellent shows out of 7 at 9:30 p.m.
beach: plenty of chairs not necessary to put our towels at 6 am
not a lot of palapas but a lot of palm trees to protect us from the sun
very well maintained beach despite the algae, clear sea with beautiful waves, water in the 86 degrees
few Quebecers, majority Europeans
at the reception people speak French
in restaurants, waiters/waitresses try to speak French politely and with a smile
pity that for Quebecers, this hotel is not better known.
Overall Rating: 9.5 out of 10
Would I return to this same hotel: yes, yes, yes
