The AC-DC Electric Motors

This firm is just amazing! I recently had a very premature problem with my Thermador Downdraft cook top fan, as the blower motor became defective. Thermador Technician inspected and confirmed the problem, but Thermador, a Global Company, said they could not repair or provide a replacement only after 7 years! Their proposal was to replace the whole Downdraft AND Motor, with new models requiring installation cabinet work to accommodate! After much resourceful searching, I found Moteurs AC-DC and spoke to Frank the founder and owner. He expressed an interest from the start in my problem, asked for more information, and decided he was sure he could fix this motor blower....and he did!!! At a fraction of the cost, saving me over $3,600 and the loss of cabinet space! This shop is the real thing, as they are pros, with Frank as a 44 year veteran. Trustworthy and reasonable, and yes we can fix things instead of throwing things out, doing our part for the planet! Frank fixes motors but specializes in client satisfaction and quality work done in reasonable time!

I needed an electric motor for my compressor, they had it at a great price. Frank the veteran there, even calculated the belt size for the new pulley on the motor which he had in stock like the motor.

My furnace motor broke down on December 27, during the holiday break when they are closed. They answered the phone anyway and allowed me to go see them.
On site, they had a replacement engine and offered me very good service, at no additional cost due to the holiday season.

As for the price, maybe who has cheaper elsewhere or on the internet, but when you have a service like that, I prefer to encourage a local trader. And in the middle of December when it's -15 outside, there's no price for good service.

Very very very good customer service. It was my first visit and I was well informed of the options available to me.
It is a father / son family business that we must encourage.
They did several searches to replace a motor in an air conditioning unit that is no longer available and they found a similar motor and helped me integrate it into the unit. This made it possible not to have to change the unit and therefore saved me a lot of money.
