Awesome! If you are in or around St-Adolphe d’Howard, treat yourself to this amazing pizza. BUT…beware that this is wood oven baked, a masterpiece worth every penny. If you want cheap pizza call Pizza Pizza!
UPDATE: I just went back (July ‘22) and dined in. It was even better than the last time!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Authentic, and yet tourist friendly. Delicious food too.
Nice addition to the neighbourhood. The pizza is Italian style meaning a very thin crust but this one went a little too far. The center was only 1mm thick so it was impossible to pick up the slice. The outer crust thicker and cooked well but didn't have much flavour. The star were the ingredients on the pizza which were fresh tasty and well proportioned. Lupi has a very small selection of beer non of which I was familiar with. It would have been nice to have a few more choices in this regard.
There was a surprising amount of staff present and all were friendly and attentive and I genuinely think that they really wanted the customers to enjoy their hand crafted pizzas. This was unusual because most restaurants are understaffed but not here.
The restaurant is not large and it has a nice vibe with good music playing at an unobtrusive volume. You can see the pizzas being made and the large oven in the corner.
All in all, a good experience. I will be going back soon.
The whole experience was very special. nice place The pizza was very delicious, the salad was very special never tried something like that in my life and the amazing service by Alexi ♥️ very recommended I will go again.
Overall this place is excellent, the pizza is delicious and the restaurant is very nice, my review of the service and set up should be taken with a grain of salt as everyone should know that the service industry is struggling right now and almost every restaurant is short staffed. Sainte Adolphe is fortunate to have such a hip joint, it's exciting to me to see new school restaurants open in the laurentians.
Pros: Pizza is delicious, so were the salad and meatballs, despite the long lines of people waiting for take away the wait was relatively short for us to get our starters and main courses, everything was reasonably priced and staff was friendly & the food was amazing, the pizzas in general were fantastic, artisan style wood fire oven, truly perfect.
Cons: There was only one girl working front of house, answering phones, serving tables, bussing & dealing with the irate take away customers, she was doing way to much and there should be someone extra to at least handle the phones and take out, however this might just be a direct result of the pandemic which we all know has lead to a serious staff shortage.
The restaurant although beautiful did not have the most thought out layout, obviously it was a restaurant before so they used the template that was already there, our table was by the entrance and we were constantly interrupted by take out clients, also all the tables are subject to headlights from the parking lot, which made eating there very uncomfortable. Hopefully they will add curtains.
Overall it's about the pizza, and the pizza was excellent, these are growing pains and I have no doubt that the overall experience will improve over time!
