Decided to go on a beery road trip in the Laurentians, and this was our first stop.
Great setup, with a fire pit, picnic tables and a deck giving you access to the river.
The location used to be a synagogue, so it has that spiritual thing going on.
Personnel was friendly and helpful, explained the beers well.
The lager served via lukr was excellent, the IPA was also great.
There was a pop up shop, a Thai family making papaya salad and pad Thai, it was great.
It was worth suffering through the traffic heading north to check this place out.
Very good summer refreshing beers and such a beautiful ambiance!
Fancy beers 🍻 and popcorn 🍿. No food though
This little brewery has found its footing…and then some! After some stumbles with production in a pandemic context, Ayawan is consistently turning out a wide variety of compelling brews. The idyllic riverside location alone makes this a worthwhile detour from Le Ptit Train or the 117!
Beautiful place, near the river. Victim of its own popularity, perhaps, there were only 3 types of beer left out of the 6 that were advertised. I tried 2 and they were both delicious. Thete was a small selection of food available as well.
