Our thermopump stopped working on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning we called Renaud Air to ask if we could have a technician come to have a look at the pump. I was expecting to have to wait a couple of days for a technician to come out, but Sylvain scheduled us an appointment for that afternoon! We were very impressed with how promptly Renaud Air sent a technician, especially on such a hot day.
The technician was very thorough and professional. He restarted our thermopump and checked the condition of the unit. He also gave us some advice for maintaining the unit. We are first-time home owners who don't have experience with a thermopump, so his advice was very appreciated.
We were very pleased with our service and we wouldn't hesitate to call Renaud Air for HVAC service in the future.
The technician was very professional and gave me full of advice on my air conditioner (HVAC) and air exchanger. Did the work promptly and properly, tested everything out. Very friendly service, very quick (they came one day after Canada Day). Highly recommended!
Had some maintenance done on 16 JUNE 2021 about a week after a small heat wave. I have a robust Carrier 2.5 ton system. The techie was cordial and stayed for 1 hour. He told me I likely have a small leak somewhere, although never tested, identified where, or added any stop leak. Only added 5 small squirts of Freon. Total bill $655.36 (150 svc call, 120 labour, and 300$$$$$ gas). That's $60 a squirt, REALLY !!! I found that an extremely excessive charge !!! (That's my whole Quebec monthly pension). Likely, won't be using them again at those prices, but maybe all the A/C contractors are charging the same to add a little gas, don't know.
