I have been fortunate to know Amélie since the start of her graduate studies. I have also had the opportunity to work with her in the lab and in the field on numerous occasions. She is an excellent entomologist / ecologist who, over time, has developed a unique expertise in identifying insects, particularly Diptera (flies and mosquitoes).
