(December 4, 2018, 3:08 am)This is my favourite ice cream spot in all of the Ottawa-Gatineau area and has been for years. The staff is always friendly and the treats are always delicious!! The cottage style building and backyard are real cozy. There's lots of seating for the whole family and also lots of parking. Make sure to check it out. It will not disappoint!!
(August 14, 2018, 9:13 pm)Oh my goodness.. What a gem.. Why woukd you have to travel so far for such amazing ice cream. Totally amazing. I had the raspberry and straw berry sour cream combo. So yummy.. I wanted more... Such good flavour blending with even the great ones like salted caramel and various others. Order your ice cream and go sit in the ice cream themed chairs in the back. Start to finish i could nit fault them. Smiles, service and satisfaction... SSS...a must go to place. You wont be disappointed. Well with the drive.. Get it after a walk in the park.. Nice reward for all the hard work walking...

I think La Cigale is the best ice cream shop around the Ottawa region. A short drive from downtown Ottawa, La Cigale is also perfectly situated for those who just finished a hike in Gatineau Park.
