  Its a must, get out there and visit this amazing Gatineau provincial park, especially this time of year, fall colours are at there most pick.

  The Champlain lookout is worth the visit in itself, but this short hiking trail is a nice addition to a trip. The trail is a short loop through the woods, beginning just below the lookout and ending at the parking lot. Along the way there's a particularly dramatic view from a wooden lookout platform perched on the edge of the escarpment. As the trail is short and not particularly steep at any point, it makes a good choice for families with small children.
