I started Guitar lessons with Robby couple of months ago, Great Musician, Great personality, surprised that I'm able to play some of my favourite songs, as well as other ones I didn't know already. The way he customizes to your strong points and works on the challenges without you realizing was the key. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn Guitar, really only one place to go, if he's not already booked up!

Robby is a great teacher, and I have learned so much, having only started a few months ago.

I'm a 55 year old guitar newbie. I started working with Robby about 3 months ago. It's been great! I have to admit that I had some initial concerns about Zoom guitar lessons but I have to say that Robby makes it work very well. He always has a lesson plan and answers all of my crazy questions. Robby's teaching methodology builds on simple techniques (a simple one finger riff, maybe a few chords) which eventually turn into playing a song. Then, just as you think you've 'mastered' it along comes something new. It can be challenging. Robby does push me out of my comfort zone. However, I'm glad he does. When I think about where I was 3 months ago using an on-line app and where I am now its really amazing. I would recommend Robby to anyone with a desire to learn to play the guitar. It's a lot of fun!

Okay this is has turned out to be a little bit of a long review but I wanted to get as much in as I could.

I have been taking lessons with Robby since October 2020 (online via Zoom). Prior to my starting lessons I had been trying to learn alone at home but with no real idea of what I should be focusing on and what to practice, I was picking up things here and there. Being an adult learner I feel has been difficult and never having even attempted to learn to play an instrument before I have often felt at a slight disadvantage.

When I started my lessons he was more than happy to allow me to take an hour lesson once a month which was the best option for my budget. This has now become a 30 minute lesson every 2-3 weeks as after discussing it we felt that something a little more bite size and frequent would be better for me, which it has been.

He has been incredibly helpful to me with my learning both with what to focus on and how to create a consistent practice schedule. He has been really great with listening to me if I have any concerns regarding my ability and progress (I often lack in self confidence so this is really motivating and keeps me going with my practice).

I love that he can record anything we are working on in lesson for me to then refer back to when I am practicing, I really do find a visual aid/ cue much better to help me learn rather than written information alone. The combination of both video and any TAB he gives me is brilliant.

I'm so glad I've found such a great teacher, I know I wouldn't have made the progress I have in the time that I have without his guidance. I also really appreciate and am grateful for his taking the time to answer any questions I might think of and message him with, he always tries to answer me as soon as he can. I always look forward to our lessons and I really hope we can have an in person lesson someday soon.

Have been learning lessons for the past 4 months with Robby and have drastically Improved in this time. I have had a guitar for many years learning by book with no success. Live Zoom lessons weekly has drastically accelerated my learning, I am enjoying learning songs and seeing improvements weekly
