This is a nice place to be specially after a hike in winter or skiing. There are several cross country ski trails and snowshoeing trails around it.
It has a fire place and about 20 tables with a good view around it. It often is empty early in the morning and then gets crowded during the day.
In winter, they put up a bird feeder which is always crowded with all sort of small birds that often are not scarred of humans so you can get close to them for photography.

Love this hut. Tho it does take some time to warm up but much better than the old one that would turn into an oven and then a sauna as everyone's wet gear dried by the fire.

Ce refuge moderne peut acceuillir près de 80 personnes. Architecture intéressante. Facile d accès en ski de fond a partir de p19.
