Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff and great pools/activities! Getting married? We attended the most beautiful 3 day wedding I have ever seen!

Trying to make this a balanced review. The resort area is beautiful and so is the drive to get there. The dinner we had was very nice and the wait staff was attentive. The pool area is fine and the pool bar staff were very nice. It's very hard to find a lounge chair by the pool so that puts a damper on things.
I found the front desk staff to be rude as well as the staff taking reservations at the restaurant. The hot tub on our patio was very cold so there was a room feature that I paid for that I was not able to use.
As far as our overall experience, I don't have overly bad things to say, but it certainly wasn't great. I was very excited to go to this resort but will definitely be trying something else next time.

I came for my cousins wedding and we stayed for 2 nights. The room we were in was wonderful! We had a view of the lake that was breathtaking an amazing to wake up to. The beds were comfortable and clean and the kitchen area had dishes if people brought their own food you can use (they even had dish soap for those who like to clean their own dishes *me*). The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly.

The pools are nice but there were more people than chairs and if we found chairs in the grass area there was bird poop everywhere. I can understand not having enough room in the pool area but it would be nice if the grass area was an extension of the pool and beach for chairs and hammocks.

One other thing that bothered me was in our room was 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. All of the doors had a kind of blur on them but they were still mostly see through, which we found uncomfortable.

Otherwise we had a wonderful weekend and a wonderful wedding, my one comment to anyone going if you can, go to the spa!

The area is simply gorgeous. Beautiful views, calm, quiet. The rooms are spacious but could use some updating. Some constructive criticism. Get calories/macros on your menus. Prices at the restaurant are $20-25 per main course (give or take) which isn’t bad but isn’t cheap. Would be nice have a few more options with the menu, and have a few options to substitute some basic things in the meals to match preferences. Overall though, friendly staff and decent service. Would come again for sure.

So beautiful and scenic! The rooms are spacious, bright, and cozy! Be prepared for great views from rooms in the back of the hotel. Breakfast brunch is absolutely delicious (I highly recommend sipping your coffee by a window in the dining room- so calming!). The spa and baths are a must!! Great service to boot!
