Aux berges du lac Castor

I love this place. Awesome hiking trails from easy(ish) to challenging. Watercraft is free with cabin rentals. Variety of cabin sizes for all budgets. If you go between end of October and late April, make sure to have winter tires and traction aids. The last 3 km are quite tricky, even in the summer if there has been a lot of rain. Speaking of which, always bring rubber boots for the parking lot in case it's muddy and a couple of tarps. You'll need them if the buggies to lug your stuff to yiur cabin are wet from snow or rain. The only downside to this place is that none of the cabins seem to be wheelchair accessible.

Very spacious, wonderful outdoor view. It feels like a home away from home with a very large party.

Fantastic off grid cabins in the bush with lake views. Great place to recharge between Quebec and Montreal.

Great place for a family weekend. You can swim, canoe, hike or just relax! You will enjoy your time there that's for sure!

The camping site is well maintained and not overcrowded. The accomodations are good and the managers were nice enough other us. Definitely will return to visit in the Winter.
