I am so grateful to have discovered the Lac-aux-Sables mutual aid counter! The prices are absolutely ridiculous, and the place is a veritable Ali Baba's cave for anyone looking for second-hand items at low prices. The door is located on the side to access the basement of the church, where the mutual aid counter is located.

Space is a bit tight, but that doesn't matter, because there are so many wonders to discover! Everything is sorted and organized, and there are all kinds of items for sale, all donated from the community. This explains the low and affordable prices.

The Lac-aux-Sables mutual aid counter is only open on Thursday afternoons, but it is definitely worth the detour to get there. The volunteers who work there are very helpful and extremely kind. It's the true mutual aid counter that really helps people in the region who need it.

It's important to note that there is no fitting room, but the prices are so low that you shouldn't mind trying on the clothes on site.
