(August 9, 2018, 6:29 pm)This is a delightful and fascinating new museum in Magog's historic Merry House. It brings to life Magog's earliest days, and provides insights into the role of the Merry family. A contemporary annex sheds light on the role of the textile industry in Magog's development, with emphasis on the human aspect. Throughout, modern museum techniques are used, to great effect. The original building has been beautifully renovated, and the recent additions are done in an attractive style, with lots of light. There is a nice small boutique, with tasteful objects related to all this history. The grounds have just been well landscaped. I recommend this museum to every visitor to Magog.
