Just wow. Once I walked in I was transported to a terrace in Europe… the music, the service, the drinks, the design… everything reminded me of Europe and gave me an amazing vacay vibe. LOVE IT! It was just what I needed to break away from the city and restore. Thank you 🙏🏻💛
Great spot. Great ambiance. Attention to detail is on point and the location is prime! Super happy with my visit.
First things first, the place is small, so don’t go thinking it’s huge and will fit the masses.
It’s a nice place to sit with friends, the seating is on the water and it’s pretty satisfying. Make sure the weather is nice and not too humid or hot, otherwise the bugs will be quite a nuisance.
Food is not too bad, drinks are only okay, no michelin star dining experience obviously, though it’s a little on the pricier end for what you get.
Service was a little slow for my taste, even though most of the tables were already served and most of the food/drinks doesn’t even require a lot of preparation.
I can say that the 2 bosses of this place are super professional and adorable! They are so passionate and attentive to details, I've rarely seen someone so invested and caring towards the clients, it was impressive.
We would have loved if all the other waiters had the same attention and care, but I think they're being slowly coached towards that mindset.
Also the Dj music is very nice, but way too loud way too early for our taste(2PM) as we came to relax on the sunbeds and talk between us girls and we couldn't hear each other at all and had to change places cause the place near the DJ was a bit brutal.
We would suggest starting the loud party music a bit later than 1H30PM as people might want to enjoy the sun with a lower/normal volume music and cocktail during the lunchtime till around 4...that would definitely give more of a luxury vibe and choice to the customers.
Hope this helps, and we will definitely come back from MTL if we can actually hear each other while talking and enjoying drinks & sun!
What an AWESOME breath of fresh air for our community and the transformation is spectacular! Venise-en-Quebec "VEC" has a blossoming summer waterfront tourism economy that was truly lacking relevant venues and services and La Tropézienne has paved the way forward in terms of quality, vibe and energy!
