ORA, une résidence du Groupe Maurice

I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were from over 5 years ago, so please be mindful of what you are reading, because nothing beats this place if you are considering a residence for yourself or a family member.

I just recently signed a lease for my grandmother at ORA and have been delighted with our experience since the first phone call and in person tour. Mme Josée Morin has been a huge help, generous with her time, and very accommodating for everything my grandmother has needed.

Sylvain at the front desk is a wonderful breath of fresh air, always smiling and ready to help.

The apartment itself is immaculate with spacious living and everything well maintained.

Common areas are unlike many other places. I feel great bringing my son and husband as we can do different activities with my grandmother every time we visit.

Nothing to complain about at all!

I have just visited the premises and I am delighted with the quality of the welcome from France, an employee who took the time to answer all my questions with great courtesy.
A detail that says a lot, she takes the time to greet each occupant by name!

Beautiful area. My mother is very happy.
On the other hand, two stars less for the lack of respect of GROUPE MAURICE for residents.
They promised on their site and during our pre-signing visits that an IGA would be open in the fall of 2019. Still not a single sight of the IGA. My mother would not have chosen this place knowing this.
There was a petition by disgruntled users to ask for compensation.
Rents are expensive there.
My mother just received a letter saying that the Maurice Group will compensate $20/month retroactively. $20. Not even a 1%/month discount.
We promise great services. We attract the elderly and after that, wait for your IGA, we are in no hurry, we pocket your rent and we charge you a 2% increase each year. But we give you a discount of 0.65%/month.
Thieves.

Condo purchased very clean friendly employees, several entertainments (bowling alley, swimming pool, gym, golf, billiards, library, computer room, jacuzzi, sauna, light therapy, art room, etc.) pharmacy in the building , representative of the Desjardins fund on site and restaurant l'oeufrier. Soon IGA in the building.

We bought a condo. The staff is great and the place is beautiful. There isn’t a person we’ve come across who doesn’t like it there! My dad is so excited to move in! Well done Maurice group!
