My Furnace suddenly stopped working in the middle of the night, I called JCD some mins past 6am and Chris D came within an hour and fixed the problem. To say I was super impressed by the response time and the quality of work done all before 8:30am is putting it mildly. Thank you JCD Refrigeration Inc. and keep up the good work.
This is the second time I've used JCD and as always excellent service. The were prompt for my request and sent timely notifications to let me know of the technicians arrival. Jonathan and William were professional and courteous and answered all my questions. They also cleaned up properly after the work which you don't see very often these days. Highly recommend them.
As usual, I am very pleased with JCD's service maintenance call. I got an appointment quickly. The technician, Shawn, arrived promptly, and checked my system while explaining it. He was thorough, checking even the humidifier's filter, and replaced my air cleaner filter with my new filter (quite a job for me). Also pointed out a potential problem in another installation. An uneventful maintenance call, but Shawn was very pleasant and "went the extra mile". What more could anyone want?
Another call, just before Christmas. The heat was out and the temperature was dropping rapidly. The technician came within the hour, and walked me through the process of resetting the heat pump set-up. Heat is back up again and I am feeling safer, knowing that there are a few steps I can take myself before having to call in the big guns. Again, pleased with the quality of JCD Refrigeration service.
I'm pleased and delighted with the service I received from JCD Refrigeration. In my opinion, this is a company who cares about their customers. My first contact was with Ines. She took the time to answer all my questions about rates for service calls (from dispatch to possible additional costs), as well as maintenance contracts. She also explained the appointment confirmation process, which went exactly as she described.
Service was provided by Tyler, who is very lovely. I really appreciate people taking time to explain what they're doing and why, and Tyler did that. My furnace wasn't producing heat, and while part of it was down to me playing with buttons I didn't fully understand, there was also a defective part, and he walked me through his diagnosis step-by-step, showing the results of each step. Tyler told me the price of the part before replacing it (very good practice to have). He also gave me a thorough explanation of how my heating system works and why / when to set the various buttons (not at all clear in the owner's manual). While I spent more money than I wanted to today (who wants to pay for repairs?), it was worth it for the information and I have a warm home. Thanks JCD!
JCD updated our furnace today. They communicated well with us during our initial meet, booked us within just a couple of days once we confirmed. Worked in a team and completed the work fairly quickly. We believe the price was fair and even gave us tips on how to proceed with hydro Quebec to make our changes with them. Electrical had to puncture a few more holes in our walls than we expected, so had quite a repair to have to tend to on our own once they were done. Otherwise job done as hoped! Would recommend.
