Elya Doula

Elya was our Doula when my wife gave birth a couple of weeks ago. She was absolutely amazing! Without her, we wouldn't be able to have such a beautiful and smooth nature labor. Can't recommend her enough!!

I had Elya as a doula for my second and third births and it was the best decision we could’ve made. She understood our goals and visions for the labour and birth, and helped make them a reality. We wanted an intervention-free birth and I think it would have been a lot harder to achieve that without her support and knowledge.
For my last birth, I got to comfortably labour at home as long as possible because I had her physical and emotional support to keep me calm and help labour progress as easily as possible. I think my baby ended up coming so quickly because of the relaxing, comfortable atmosphere I got to labour in as a result of her assistance. Without all the fussiness that comes along with labouring in the hospital, and knowing I was in good hands with Elya at home, I was able to get to the hospital only to push the baby out and everything went well! I was able to trust the process and my body pushed the baby out with little effort on my part (despite having a 10 pound baby!).
I highly recommend Elya as a doula no matter your vision for your pregnancy and birth, but ESPECIALLY if you want to feel empowered, trust your body’s natural process, and have as little intervention as possible.

Meeting Elya and choosing her as my doula was an absolute godsend! As first time parents we came in with expectations and rules on how we would parent. Discussions with Elya prior to the birth put a lot of things into perspective and made us reevaluate our thoughts. Elya’s guidance during the labour of our baby girl was invaluable and I know for a fact that without her guidance I would have ended in a C-Section. I experienced over 30 hours of labour with the first 24hours unmedicated. Elya was by me the entire time and more than just the exercises and the breathing techniques, it was her strong calming presence and encouragement that gave me the strength to get through the labour. Following the birth, Elya came for a visit and that day changed our entire parenting experience. Her presence that day showed us how to be in the moment, how to slow down our pace and follow our child’s lead. Elya will always be a very special person in our lives as she not only guided us through the birth but had an impact on the type of parents that we are to our daughter.
Elya is an amazing person who not only has a passion for what she does but is also a wealth of knowledge. She will support you in the ways that you need her and will always be there to answer all of your questions.

Choosing Elya as my doula is the best decision I’ve ever made!!! She is caring, patient, and very professional. The most important thing is she is really passionate about what she is doing.
