Monkland Grill Lachine

Constructive criticism. Only opened for a few weeks. There is room for improvement. Very warm welcome and kindness from the gentleman who was alone, himself who took our orders and prepared the meals.
I went with two friends. Reservation was required, even though the restaurant was empty. Possibly in order to predict how many servers will be required??? During the 1 hour and a half that we stayed, no other customers. Only a gentleman at the counter who appears to be the delivery man.
I think the owners should advertise their new restaurant a little more in order to attract more customers.

The Greek salad was super good. My plate of gyros was ok, nothing more. The Greek potatoes were well cooked on the outside, but were not cooked well on the inside as if they had been heated too quickly. Meat gyros are the kind you get in some fast food restaurants. The rice didn't have much flavor. My friends had the lamb souvlaki skewers and found the meat succulent and tender.

In general, the food was good and edible, but fast food quality for my tastes. We went while it was freezing outside, and we felt it inside. We had to ask the gentleman to turn up the heating.

I am not giving up on this restaurant. I plan to return in a few months to see the improvements. Thank you for your good service.

This evening I enjoyed the pizza, it was really excellent. I strongly advise you to go take a look there.

Today, I ordered two large pizzas, when I entered to get the pizza, the only thing that bothered me at first was the price, but then when I realized the respectful attitude of the staff there and the high quality of the pizza, my opinion changed completely, the best pizza I ate was Monkland grill Pizza in lachine.
