The dishes at Valde are great, the griot is fresh, tender and well cooked without being dry. The rice and sauce are incredible (but ask for an extra pot of sauce on the side because it is small)
The white rice and pea sauce are also very good! The chicken is flavorful without being too dry
Truly one of Montreal’s underrated cuisines! You won't be disappointed 👌
