A very nice place. Our group of 6 had a cabin at baie Viola. Excellent accomodations. Beautiful spot. Running water, hot and cold,, bathroom with shower. Unfortunately our trip was cut short by the forest fires and we had to vacate on our second day. The first day's fishing was good and we were expecting to have a great week. We have absolutely no complaints and we would highly recommend this outfitter. Hopefully the area does not suffer any damage from the fires of this year 2023.
This is by far and away the worst fishing trip of my entire life.
These 2 brother owners have not ! invested a single dime of upkeep in decades.Cabins are really badly dilapitated with fridges that barely work.If you plan on visiting, you better add on a few days to your tripin order to recover from brain damage from driving for hours on washboard roads.
Great place for an adventure in the northern woods. If you know what you're doing, you'll do well with the walleye, and we've had days with multiple 40+ inch pike. Tons of water to explore, and the owners provide detailed topo maps of the lakes. Can't wait to get back.
This was my 1st outfitted hunt so I don't have anything to compare it to.
Was an unguided hunt.
Cabin was rustic but well outfitted with running water, hot water, shower, kitchen supplies, wood stove.
We asked what was included for boats and were told 3 boats without motors and 1 with.
The boat with a motor was the only good one.
The rest were junk.
We would have brought our own if told so.
The hunting area was small and had a lot of traffic as it was on a public logging road which we new from maps ahead of time which were available online.
Hard to imagine until you go there though.
In my opinion it wasn't worth the $ to hunt out of province.
I'd have rather stayed in Province and had more public area to hunt.
Fishing was ok but we didn't spend much time on it.
People were friendly, polite, and helpful.
