Very impressive place. Great fishing and wildlife.

We came up with a friend in 2019 who had been there previously. FANTASTIC first experience! Renee and Carl are WONDERFUL. Due to COVID, couldn't come back until August 2021 when we were the first Americans in approximately 2 years. The fishing and experience are FANTASTIC! Renee is WONDERFUL!! We cannot say enough great things! We have a trip booked in July 2022 and can't wait! Walleye Tacos most nights for dinner!!!! Plus Tracy caught his PB lake trout and I've got 2 pike > 36 inches!! I have been fortunate to be able to travel, fish and hunt in many places in Canada for the past 40 + years! and if you love to fish where you are sincerely welcomed ... then Stramond Lake Lodge should be on your list.

Renee and Team keep this resort well maintained with absolutely nothing left missing. The chalets, the equipment even the fish cleaning building are top notch!

And, well the fishing - out of this world. In 2 short days because I was the guide for my wife and daughter. 6 pike 32-36" and some smaller, 1 touladi-Lake Trout 26" & over 45 walleye most over 17"

we are looking forward to our next visit back.

We have been going here every June for at least 35 years. A very friendly and accomodating lodge. Renee goes out of her way to make everyone comfortable. And there are plenty of walleye, pike and lake trout to go around!
