(October 25, 2020, 9:19 pm)Nice, challenging hiking trail. 5km out and back trek ending in a nice view of the river. Road in is in poor condition. Part of of Quebec's ZEC controlled zone, requiring check-in at the office on the way in and daily access fee.

FYI - There is a $12.00 fee and it is cash only when you get there. The nearest place that will do cash back is a 20 minute drive back.
Hiked this trail in July. Very buggy, so bring your bug spray. Excellent moderate hike.
The road in is a little sketchy in spots as it is only 1 lane wide and parts have previously been washed out. But got in and out with a 2 wheel drive SUV with no issues.
Amazing views and you can use the swinging rope to jump into and climb out of the lake at the peak of the trail.
Great day trip from Ottawa!
