Excellent! Although the place is called Verger Danielle, not Jodoin which is a couple houses down the road. Went end of September on a Saturday and could've gotten all our apples from the first tree of the row (whereas other orchards we would've had to walk quite far and climb high up to get apples). Small, quaint, not overly commercialized - perfect for covid. We picked our apples there and headed to Mont Rouge for more action for the kids but that was way too busy that we left and went back here.
It had a nice little playground where the kids (2, 4 and 5 years) had maybe an hour's total of alone time, and when with others maybe just 2-3 families more. The sand was more construction dirt than sand so at the end of the day we had to wipe them down completely and strip them before putting them back into their car seats. Pre-covid they had a bouncy castle as well.
The bathrooms are only 2 portapotties but the cleanest ones I've ever seen, with Lysol wipes available. The picnic tables were well spread apart, and disinfecting and cleaning products at your disposal should you wish to spray and wipe down your table.
They're a cash only establishment so come prepared. They sell great chaussons aux pommes, amongst just a few other things. So bring your own food should you wish to stay to eat.
Super nice apples
