Part of the authentic Val Jalbert experience. Lots of great souvenirs, realistic prices, welcoming service. Loved it!
Visually beautiful, exterior and interior... good effort inside to preserve the atmosphere of the time..
We had a lovely time here! The store has a little bit of everything, clothes, t shirts, soaps, souvenirs, everything blueberries and ice cream! I had a blueberry sundae, the blueberry sauce was generous and yummy! We were eating outside on the chairs, and a lady was dressed up like an historical character and chatting her gossip with us, super cute! Fiddle music was playing and the country ladies are singing and dancing along!
Very nice little shop, organized and designed as if we were in the past!
You can find cute souvenirs, local products and also have coffee or fresh beverages.
The woman knows her products and will for sure find something that might interest you ;)
However, I encourage you to chose to put your money on real local products such as foods, jams, or bath soaps for example, because lot of clothes and blankets and other little things are all made in China even if there is written "Designed in Canada" (be careful with this one).
We bought rabbit rillettes, cranberry jam and lavander bath soap and everyon was really happy! The food was so good!
Exceptional. In the park itself, this general store converted into a hotel upstairs is magnificent. Fitted out in the spirit of the 1920s, the decor and various fittings meant that we had a great evening. Also remaining in the park we had dinner at the park restaurant, 5 minutes walk and if you are lucky the sightseeing bus takes you there directly. It was a great experience. I recommend this establishment.
