With a 5 hours drive, is still worth to come. The scene is nice feel comfortable relaxing. The coolbox is fine but just a bit wooden smelly
The location was very good for why I was in town. It was like staying at the cottage for the weekend.
Lots of waterfront. I stayed in the Log cabin.
It was clean and equipped. Had a fireplace which was a bonus. Floor needs a bit of work but besides that it was a good place. The heaters in the bedroom need to be replaced as they are loud when operating.
All in all a good stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Domaine des Trois Iles! Our Coolbox contained everything we needed (toaster, kettle, hot plate, pots, etc.) and offered a beautiful view of the lake. We were so happy that our fur baby (dog) was able to join as finding dog friendly accommodations can be a challenge. He loved rolling in the snow and enjoying walks around the property. We took the package that included food and drink from La Chouape Microbrasserie and a visit to the on site spa. The food and beers were tasty and the spa was very serene and relaxing - highly recommend! We hope to return in the summer. :)
Wonderful! Domaine des Trois Îles is fantastic. The Box was perfectly set up. The staff was incredibly generous with me. The lake is gorgeous. I look forward to coming back and staying longer!
Great domain. The surroundings and activities offer a lot! Perfect for outdoor amateurs. Fatbike, skating ring & all sorts of winter equipment. Accessibility via snowmobile for the amateur, possibly of bonfires, cooking grill outside as well. We rented the most expensive cottage which was cozy as long as you kept the fireplace alive else with big colds like we had it was hard when waking up. A lot of air coming from the windows, water dripping from the ceiling in some areas. I also felt the place was dark, I don't know if light bulbs were burnt or if the electricity had something but the main bedroom didn't have any light other than in the closet and bathroom. Maybe spotlights weren't working as well but the main living area was bright enough once dawn came. The stove didn't have a working fan or light which made it difficult for cooking as the smoke couldn't go anywhere. Some love would be required.
Overall a great experience, summer must be a really nice season to occupy thay cottage. They offer what's called coolbox also which I didn't rent. Those are brand new so I might give it a go sometime. Those in snowmobile sure seemed like they enjoyed the practicality.
