Vélo Fjord e-bikes

The minute I got out of my truck in the parking lot of velo fjord, I received the most warm welcome from Graham (the owner), as if I was an anticipated special cousin coming to visit. Graham patiently gave me very detailed instructions on how to operate the e-bike, and assured me that it is normal to be nervous the first time using it, but it wouldn’t be long before I get a hang of it. I am 5’1” and 106 lbs, and the weight of the bike was not a problem at all to put in and out of the kick stand. The first day I intended to rent the bike for 4 hours and ended up spending almost 6 hours. I came back the next day and used it for more than 4 hours, again! Why?! Nothing beats exploring and discovering the cute, fun, exciting, and relaxing spots scattered all around the quaint village of L’Anse-Saint-Jean. This is the first place I’ve ever vacationed in where I get to do fjord kayaking, cycling, hiking, and swimming (choice of fresh warmer water in the river or salty colder water in the fjord), and have some extraordinary culinary experience, all within short distances from each other and can be done in less than a day! I don’t need to mention the wonderful bike trails all over the village and how perfect they are for mediocre cyclists like me. Rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste is a cool, somewhat hilly (I stopped counting past 15) road where the e-bike is so perfectly enjoyable to ride in. Renting a bike from velo fjord is not just renting a bike to cycle around in if you are an adventurous person. It’s the extra fun stuff you get to do with such intensity when you transport yourself from place to place in it. Highly recommend, and am thinking about coming back here again maybe next Summer.

I stopped in passing during my vacation and I loved my bike ride. The beauty of the Anse-St-Jean landscape and the fjord❤️ Honestly, this is my favorite activity in the region and in my vacation. The owner is friendly and took the time to explain the bike to me before I left.

Great family-owned business offering quality bikes for reasonable rates. There is no better way to visit L’Anse-Saint-Jean and surrounding areas.
