Very nice gite, very pleasant with the family (games for children), quiet… The hosts are adorable. I don't give 5 stars because we had a water leak problem (but the accommodation concerned should no longer be rented after our visit while waiting to be redone), and because the price for the washer/dryer is quite high ($15 in total), especially compared to other places.
Beautiful and relaxing place. Linda and Pierre give good advice and listen to their hosts. Pierre is a real artist who will take you on a journey to the land of the Hobbits. Take the detour!
For our first trip to Quebec (we are French), we chose this place, and what can I say?? Magnificent, we were charmed by this cottage, surrounded by nature, relaxing, calm, exotic. The friendliness and hospitality of the owners was great.
Go there with your eyes closed.
We spent a few days including our New Year's Eve in the accommodation "la cache". Superb little cozy accommodation in a great surrounding setting! The set of buildings is magnificent, as is the view of the fjord that is offered to us when we get up in the morning. The owners immediately put us at ease and took great care of us throughout our stay. We highly recommend to anyone looking for clean air and calm. We will come back to it if the opportunity arises.
Living inside a work of art
This place was fantastic. Pierre is a woodcarver and the entire house is a work of art. Everywhere you turn there is yet another object of beauty including a beaver gnawing on a branch that supports a cupboard (and hides a wire), a chest of drawers that looks like a man going to work..complete with a wooden briefcase, numerous fantastic chests and tremendous oil paintings by Linda. The gite is in the country quiet and lovely. The breakfast for our group of cyclists was fresh crepes. Added to the delight, was a great dinner at Chez Mina where we were entertained and educated by the mayor of the little hamlet of St. Rose du Nord. A magical place
