Aventure Rose-des-Vents

We stopped for coffee - ordered an americano and a latte - and were pleasantly surprised by how balanced and flavorful the coffee was. Best we tried in the fjord area so far. Bravo!

Had an awesome kayak tour with a nice lunch and refreshing beers afterwards. All the employees are really friendly!

A cozy and welcoming hostel in the middle of a hidden paradise.

It distinguishes itself from other hostels you may encounter in bigger cities because it's also a hangout spot for the inhabitants of Sainte-Rose, which makes for a lively intersection of tourists and Saguenay locals.

As the name states, there are always adventure excursions provided for the nearby fjord, be it kayaking in the summer or off-trail skiing in the winter.

If possible, try to rent their yurt to enjoy a scenic view over the Fjord and an intimate setting for a romantic evening or campfire-style hangout between friends.

Busy small hostel, somewhat pricey, with a bar, small clean room but poor sound insulation; we could hear a snoring guest thru most of the night. The shared bathroom was relatively clean, and hostel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a small sink with a low-hanging overhead light that provided little illumination, yet repeatedly bumped our heads. Very nice surroundings, overlooking a bay, with multiple hiking paths nearby. Limited parking. Nearby alternatives are likely more expensive but could offer better price/quality ratios.

This hostel was great! The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and towels. The bathroom was incredibly roomy, with a bathtub, and everything was spotless. The common area is very comfortable and homey, with a large and we'll furbished kitchen. The coffee and tea are free in the morning. Last but not least, the staff is very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and totally recommend it!
