Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier

Not much happening at this time of year. We just drove the auto road to and fro. No wildlife to see. Everything covered with feet of snow. We will return during nice weather. Very beautiful place for sure.

Just beautiful! Great winter camping location and lots of snow and wide terrain for back country riding.

I went there with my boyfriend and one friend. Although it's a bit far from us, we arrived to the park hoping to see the effect of the Fall in a forest. This park showed us the beauty of this season. As we are not really active people, we decided to take the route Les Cascades that is for beginners, but they have more trails for beginners, intermediates and advanced hikers. We were surprised at the signaling of the trails. They also have a map in their website and they give you a printed copy of it when you arrived. The entrance costs 10 CAD per person, and it's totally worth it. There were some moments when we were at some part of the forest and we stopped and stayed quiet. The silence that you could hear was amazing, not a sound. I don't know what else to say other than this place is spectacular! You need to go there.

Wonderful National park. The river, the forest ... everything is beautiful. Impressively well maintained and organized. You won't find garbage laying around. Camp sites, just for a day for swimming or to rent a kayak ++ ... So much to do. Not to mention all the hiking. Place tend to be full of respectful people, it stays clean and nice.
