It's been years since I was actually there, but I used to go every year.
It's one of the most beautiful and serene places where I've ever spent time. Camping on the Chochocouane with the rushing water lulling me to sleep, or waking up on a lake with the steam rising from the river and wildlife drinking on the far shore...
Heaven.

Perfect for all levels. I love the fact that there’s a campsite at the start point as well in case you arrive late but want to start early the next day Lovely landscapes, eagles, cranes, hawks and loons were a near daily sight. The pickerel proved somewhat elusive, but the pike were obliging.

Great spot to get away..plenty of wood and sites are clean..we saw a bald eagle when we first launched..and saw some large hares on our site late at night..very cool
