A great team motivated with great energy

What a great marathon experience I had yesterday! Thanks to you and the entire BougeBouge team of volunteers in the field.

Everyone has been so nice, never missing a chance to cheer on the runners. Really great!

The refreshment points were perfectly located on the course (so important) and we were well guided by the guides on the trail.

This was my 16th marathon in 5 different cities including 9 in Boston and as I told your colleagues yesterday, the coaching we have been given is worthy of the biggest events.

Anecdote; on my 3rd passage through the U-bend, while, while running, I was trying to fill my own water bottle with the glass that had just been handed to me, a volunteer grabbed my bottle and said "wait ma'am, I'll see you. fill it out and give it back to you as soon as you turn the corner ”. Nowhere else have I experienced a similar situation, in over 25 years of running events. This illustrates well I find the degree of sincere involvement of your people on the ground.

In short, all this beautiful support contributed to the achievement of my goal yesterday, that is to make a time that allows me to qualify for the Boston marathon, and at 60 years old in April 2022, to participate for the 10th time. .

I intend to watch your upcoming events and "enlist" my personal coach / supporter from yesterday (also a runner in her spare time) in one of these, too much fun to miss that!
