Good spot for fishing and bbq. Free parking also on the site.
It is one of my favorite kayaking places.
Nice small park. Free parking, a launch area for putting your kayak into the water. There's picnic tables and lounging chairs supplied by the city. There's lots of shade under the oak trees and an abundance of acorns that sometimes drop on your head. The access to the water is limited and there's definitely not a beach so kids won't necessarily go crazy for this little park. If you want to go somewhere to sit in the shade on a hot day down by the water and have a picnic it's a good place. One thing I must note is you're close to the 40 Highway West so there is a lot of traffic noise. I must say the city of old Vaudreuil-Dorion finds unique places to build parks and give the residence of the town places to go and sit and enjoy the outdoors. If you go on the interactive map of the city, all the parks are there named and easy to find. The three star rating is simply because of the road noise and the water access is limited, but lots of birds to see.
Pleasant quiet spot to soak in the view. There is a lot of construction at the parking and entrance to the park. I am not sure what they are doing. Hopefully it adds to the park's infrastructure.
Our favorite place. Nice view
