Painted Rock Campground

This campground is absolutely wonderful! We stayed for four nights over the Aug long weekend. It was a great escape from city...I felt like we were miles from home as it was so relaxing and quiet. The grounds were so neat and the shower house was very clean. The owners are so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We went for walks in the evening and got to see a family of owls! We will definitely plan another visit in the future! Thanks to the hosts again for a pleasant stay!

What a great stop. Right off the highway but very quite as the campground is surrounded with trees. The sites are level with grass plus a great area for the dog. The bathrooms are very clean with great showers.

We stopped at Painted Rock for one night on our way from Elk Island to Riding Mountain. What a pleasant stop it was! A quiet and peaceful place with a nice family friendly atmosphere. Our two kids played all evening with the owners’ four (lovely and well-behaved) kids, and had a great time. Beautiful view of sunset and sunrise from our campsite. In addition, the campground is clean and well maintained. Sites are well sized and private. Excellent value and a lovely place to stay. Thanks to Dawn for her hospitality.

Absolute awesome night spent here on my trip from AB to NB. The owners are so friendly. Met us in the parking lot (in a golf cart) immediately after arriving, escorted to our site, delivered fire wood and brought the payment machine to me AT our site. Great experience. Would love to have another stay

Super friendly owners - called them when my buddy and I were in a jam and they helped us out no problem. The campsites are spacious and well kept, bathrooms & showers are not only clean but heated (super big plus as it was early spring) and electrical boxes where you can charge your electronics! 10/10 would come here again ????????
