Martensville RCMP Detachment

I wake up, get a coffee and proceed to drive my husband to work, mind you im still in my housecoat. It's 7am and I get pulled over for no lights, that's fair. However this is where the overreaching begins. The day before, I cleaned my car and it still smelled like fabric softener. The cop asks if I've had anything to drink I say it's 7am I've got coffee then he asks if I smoke Marijuana which I do but hadn't since the night before last time around 9pm before bed, it helps me fall asleep. He goes on telling me he can smell the Marijuana even though all i can smell is a strong scent of fabrese. Im thinking he thinks im trying to mask a smell with the fabrese lol He then proceeds to take me to the back of his police suv to take a drug test. He wasn't trained to do so, so we had to wait for another officer that is trained to administrator the drug test. Mind boggling!!! 10 hours after my last smoke the test comes back positive and I get a 3 day suspension. So according to the police your high and impaired even after 10 hours of no weed. Anyone in their right mind knows damn well you are not high and impaired 10 hours after smoking a joint. This review is just a warning to others that if you are a regular pot smoker you will al
ALWAYS test positive for a drug test. You can have 1 alcohol drink and be able to drive an hour or so after but 10 hours after smoking a joint you cannot?? Soo many people drinking and driving and let's not forgot to mention prescribed or non prescribed pills that the majority of people are on are risking peoples lives but they want to suspend someone for 3 days for not smoking for 10 hours. My mind is blown lol Martensville Rcmp officers can't even answer basic questions cause they can't,they have no idea to what the answer even is. Hence maybe his lack of training i dont know but im sure this officer feels so accomplished today. A real dufus for sure!!
