I would like to commend the professionalism and excellent care I received from Saskatoon Fire Station No 3. Thank you very much for all that you did to assist me during my illness. This goes out to NICK and all the men and women that work at the Fire Hall at 1906 York Ave.as well as all the other Fire Halls and their staff. Each day you put on your Uniform you become "SPECIAL VETERANS" because you also FIGHT an ENEMY of the City of Saskatoon; only this ENEMY has NO FEELINGS: just a ravenous appetite for DESTRUCTION and MAYHEM. This ENEMY cares nothing for the HUMAN RACE. You are left with the JOB of dealing with its aftermath of PAIN and LOSS OF LIFE. YOU become a shoulder to cry on; a COUNSELOR; ARMS a CHILD can be comforted in. YOU meet the ENEMY FACE TO FACE and without HESITATION STAND YOUR GROUND to FIGHT and ENGAGE THIS RELENTLESS ENEMY. YOU need to know that each and everyone of the CITIZENS of SASKATOON are GRATEFUL; ADMIRE and RESPECT YOU and all that YOU do for them so HOLD YOUR HEADS UP HIGH.
